This 12-inch statue of Sadhakshari Lokeshvara, the four-armed form of Avalokiteshvara, stands as a profound support for the cultivation of compassion and awakened intention. Crafted in copper and finished in a harmonious two-toned antique patina, the statue reflects a quiet balance — dark, subdued robes grounding the form, and warm brown skin tones offering a sense of gentle presence. These finishing choices are artistic in nature, enhancing clarity and visual depth without altering the sacred iconography.

Seated in vajra posture upon a lotus base, the principal hands of Lokeshvara are joined at the heart in Manidhara mudra. The upper hands hold a rosary and a lotus, symbolizing continuous compassionate activity and the purity of wisdom arising within the world. Every proportion follows classical iconographic standards, ensuring the statue remains fully aligned with traditional practice.

The face, delicately hand-painted with 24k gold, radiates calm awareness. The eyes and lips are rendered with exceptional precision, allowing the gaze to remain soft yet attentive — an ideal focal point during meditation and mantra recitation. Turquoise stone inlays accent the crown and ornaments, offering subtle vitality while maintaining overall restraint and harmony.

For practitioners engaged in Avalokiteshvara practice, this statue becomes more than a visual object. It serves as a reminder that compassion is not abstract, but embodied — cultivated through presence, repetition, and sincere aspiration. Crafted in Patan, Nepal, this piece carries forward the living lineage of Newa artisans, where devotion, craftsmanship, and Dharma meet in form.
