This statue of Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara is handcrafted in copper and finished with partial silver plating in an elegant antique style. The silver-plated body reflects the luminous purity associated with Avalokiteshvara, while the darker antique tones of the robes and ornaments create a refined sense of depth and balance.
Seated upon a lotus base, Avalokiteshvara’s principal hands are joined at the heart in anjali mudra, symbolizing boundless compassion, while the other hands hold the rosary and lotus flower. Fine engravings and subtle turquoise stone settings further enrich the statue’s graceful presence.
Created as both a support for Dharma practice and a work of traditional Himalayan craftsmanship, this piece is handcrafted in Patan, Nepal, reflecting the enduring artistry of the Newa Buddhist tradition.
