Simhamukha is a wrathful Dakini whose practice is excellent for clearing obstacles of the most pervasive and malignant kind. This statue of her has been well crafted to help the practitioners in her practice. With a fierce wrathful face, the statue has been partly mercury gilded with 24k gold along with a combination of black and brownish finish. The face has been painted with gold along with lively detailing to evoke a strong connection with the Practitioners.

The tradition and history of handcrafting Buddhist statues have been present in Patan for more than 10 centuries. In our quest to preserve and keep this tradition going, we make sure that all of the statues are crafted from Patan.
