Symbolizing motherly compassion, White Tara is best associated with healing and protection that prolongs one’s life through accumulating merits. This statue of White Tara is crafted with simplicity. The engravings are lightly carved and the contrast between the robes and the skins are differentiated by two-toned color oxidizing. The combination of these factors brings out the simplicity that we see in this statue.
