Manjushri is a Bodhisattva who represents the wisdom aspect of Buddha nature. This statue of him has been crafted with simplicity and minimalism yet forms an elegant style. The simplicity is defined by the light-depth engravings that we see on the borders of the robes. Silver has been partly gilded to the statue along with a dark chocolate color antique finish. His calm and peaceful face has been painted with gold along with all the detailing on the eyes and lips. The combination of all these factors provides a way for us to connect with this statue and form a meaningful experience in our practice.
