Longchenpa (1308–1364) is revered as one of the greatest Dzogchen masters of the Nyingma tradition, whose writings continue to illuminate the path of the Great Perfection. Several centuries later, Jigme Lingpa (1730–1798) received the profound Longchen Nyingtik teachings through visionary experiences of Longchenpa, becoming one of the lineage’s most influential masters and ensuring the transmission of these treasured teachings for generations to come.
These statues are faithfully based on traditional clay figures from Bhutan, which were carefully cast in copper before being completed through the traditional lost-wax casting process. The robes feature minimalistic engraved motifs, allowing the serene presence of the two masters to remain the central focus. Finished with 24K part-gold gilding and a two-toned antique patina blending rich black and warm brown hues, the statues possess a timeless elegance. Their faces are meticulously gilded in 24K gold and hand-painted with delicate details, creating a luminous expression that inspires devotion and a deep sense of connection.
Created by our master artisans, these statues honor two of the most influential figures in the Nyingma lineage while embodying the enduring beauty of traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. They serve as meaningful supports for practice and as enduring reminders of the wisdom and compassion transmitted through the Longchen Nyingtik lineage.
