Guru Padmasambhava, an esteemed and iconic figure within the realms of Tibet and Vajrayana Buddhism, is widely venerated as Guru Rinpoche. His significance as a pivotal Vajrayana master, instrumental in introducing tantric Buddhism to the Himalayan expanse, remains undeniable. Our engagement with this statue began around 2016. Initially adorned with a modest plain copper oxidized finish, our pursuit of enhancing its luminosity led us to an exquisite culmination. Through meticulous craftsmanship, the statue was elevated with a resplendent radiance. The strategic application of 24k gold gilding, intricately tracing the robe's borders and select focal points, seamlessly intertwines with a two-toned antique finish. The harmonious combination of blackish and brownish tones embellishes the robe, while the nuanced brownish hue graces the exposed skin. The facial expression, a focal point of reverence, is masterfully painted, emitting an aura of potent transcendence. The statue itself, born from a copy mold, boasts fine carving, epitomizing precision. The elegantly simple engravings adorning the robe's borders exhibit a delicate finesse. Collectively, our dedication has birthed a style cherished by practitioners, beckoning them to immerse themselves in Guru Padmasambhava's commanding presence.
