Amitabha Buddha, one of the five Dhyani Buddhas, is a revered figure in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, known for his boundless compassion. This statue, crafted in the elegant Newa style, is distinguished by the thin robe he wears, reflecting the artistic tradition. Meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the finely detailed engravings along the robe's borders, as well as the delicate patterns subtly etched throughout. The statue is fully gilded in thick layers of 24k gold, ensuring its lasting brilliance. An antique finish has been applied to create a timeless, soothing aesthetic. The face, skillfully painted in gold, adds a serene presence, allowing practitioners to connect deeply with Amitabha Buddha's profound energy and compassion.
